From our peaceful countryside setting, you’re just a short drive from some of Wales’ most stunning beaches. Mwnt Beach, with its sheltered cove and dramatic cliffs, is a hidden gem near Cardigan — perfect for spotting dolphins or enjoying a peaceful picnic. Amroth offers a long, sandy stretch ideal for families and marks the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Tenby, with its colourful harbour and Blue Flag beaches, is always a hit, while Saundersfoot provides a charming village vibe with golden sands. For those seeking serenity, Poppit Sands near Cardigan is a wide, open beach backed by dunes and great for walking the dog. Whether you’re after sunbathing, swimming, or rock-pooling, there’s a beach for everyone — all within an hour’s drive.

Our campsite is perfectly placed for walking enthusiasts. The famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers miles of spectacular scenery — from wild headlands and clifftop views to quiet coves and seabird colonies. One of the most scenic spots is the stretch around Mwnt, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and, if you’re lucky, see dolphins playing in the bay. Inland, the Preseli Hills offer a mystical landscape dotted with ancient stones and panoramic vistas. Whether you prefer a gentle stroll or a more adventurous trek, the region’s natural beauty is best explored on foot.

Discover the charm of nearby market towns full of character and local flavour. Cardigan is rich in history, with its restored castle, independent shops, and riverside cafés — and it’s also home to the nearby Welsh Wildlife Centre, where you can spot otters and red kites in their natural habitat. Narberth is a stylish little town loved for its boutiques, galleries, and award-winning food spots. Newport, nestled between the hills and the sea, is a picturesque town known for its scenic walks, beaches, and artistic spirit. Looking for family-friendly adventures? You’re in luck! Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo is a top-rated day out, home to giraffes, penguins, a vintage fairground, and soft play zones. Nearby, The Dinosaur Park in Tenby brings prehistoric fun to life with life-size dinos, rides, and woodland trails. For nature lovers, the Welsh Wildlife Centre offers interactive exhibits, wild trails, and bird hides nestled along the Teifi Marshes. Just a short drive from our campsite, you’ll find Laugharne Castle, famously associated with poet Dylan Thomas, who found inspiration within its walls.  Perched above the Tywi Valley, Dinefwr Castle offers panoramic views and a glimpse into the legacy of the Lord Rhys, a pivotal figure in Welsh history.  For dramatic scenery, Carreg Cennen Castle stands atop a limestone precipice, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside.  Don’t miss Kidwelly Castle, one of the best-preserved Norman castles in Wales, showcasing impressive medieval architecture. Each castle tells its own unique story, making for an enriching day out steeped in history
