Inland, the Preseli Hills offer a mystical landscape dotted with ancient stones and panoramic vistas. Whether you prefer a gentle stroll or a more adventurous trek, the region’s natural beauty is best explored on foot.
Discover the charm of nearby market towns full of character and local flavour. For a taste of something different, coastal foraging and seaweed-based cuisine are on the rise, giving visitors a real flavour of Wales’ natural bounty. Don’t forget to sample Caws Cenarth cheese and other local goodies at nearby farm shops and markets.
Step back in time and explore the rich history of West Wales through its magnificent castles. Perched above the Tywi Valley, Dinefwr Castle offers panoramic views and a glimpse into the legacy of the Lord Rhys, a pivotal figure in Welsh history. For dramatic scenery, Carreg Cennen Castle stands atop a limestone precipice, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside.
