From our peaceful countryside setting, you’re just a short drive from some of Wales’ most stunning and varied coastlines. Whether you’re after sunbathing, swimming, or rock-pooling, there’s a perfect stretch of sand for everyone—all within an hour’s drive:
For dramatic views and dolphin spotting: Head to Mwnt Beach, a breathtaking hidden gem near Cardigan with a sheltered sandy cove, dramatic cliffs, and a beautiful tiny white church on the hillside.
For wide-open space and dog walks: Visit Poppit Sands near Cardigan, an expansive, sweeping beach backed by dunes that is absolutely ideal for letting four-legged friends burn off some energy.
For a quieter, historic coastal village: Check out Llansteffan, where you can enjoy a peaceful walk along the sandy estuary under the shadow of its magnificent hilltop castle.
For bustling charm and colorful harbors: Spend the day in Tenby, famous for its pastel-colored houses, medieval town walls, and pristine Blue Flag beaches, or nearby Saundersfoot for a lovely village vibe and golden sands.

Our campsite is perfectly placed for walking enthusiasts, hikers, and anyone looking to reconnect with the great outdoors. The region’s spectacular natural beauty is best explored on foot, with incredible routes right on your doorstep:
For world-class coastal hiking: Join the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which offers miles of spectacular scenery—from wild headlands and sheer clifftop views to quiet hidden coves and bustling seabird colonies.
For ancient, mystical landscapes: Head inland to the rugged Preseli Hills, where you can hike through a dramatic landscape dotted with prehistoric standing stones, iron age hillforts, and panoramic vistas that stretch all the way to Ireland on a clear day.
For a scenic, gentle coastal stroll: Walk the stretch around Mwnt up to the headland, where you can sit and enjoy breathtaking views over the bay and, if you’re lucky, see our resident bottlenose dolphins playing in the surf below.
For a magical river and woodland walk: Visit Nevern, just a short drive away. This gentle, historic trail leads you through a deeply atmospheric wooded valley along the river, passing ancient pilgrim crosses and the famous, mysterious "bleeding yew" in the village churchyard.

For epic local street food: Look out for the fantastic Brwnt food trailer popping up locally, or head to Bocs Du at the Old Pigeon Shed in Cardigan for a buzzing atmosphere and incredible, fresh local street food (their halloumi burger is a must-try).
For a special night out: Book a table at Jabajak Vineyard, an award-winning restaurant and working vineyard just a short drive away, where you can sample locally sourced fine dining paired with their own spectacular Welsh wines.
Need something quick and close by? If you've just arrived and want a night off from cooking, pop into Crymych to grab a traditional takeaway from the local chip shop, Cegin 24.
Step back in time and explore the rich, dramatic history of West Wales through its magnificent strongholds. From hidden gems right on our doorstep to sweeping hillforts, each fortress tells its own unique story—all within an hour's drive:
For spectacular river views close by: Head to Cilgerran Castle, our closest local stronghold. Overlooking the dramatic Teifi Gorge, this striking 13th-century ruin features two massive round towers and an elevated wall-walk—best of all, it’s entirely free to enter.
For sweeping views and Welsh royalty: Head to Dinefwr Castle near Llandeilo. Perched high above the lush Tywi Valley, this site offers panoramic vistas, a historic deer park with ancient oaks, and a deep glimpse into medieval Welsh history.
For incredibly preserved architecture: Visit Kidwelly Castle, one of the absolute best-preserved Norman fortresses in Wales. You can climb the soaring towers, walk the intact ramparts, and marvel at the imposing medieval stonework.
For jaw-dropping drama and scale: Don't miss Carreg Cennen Castle. It stands spectacularly atop a sheer, 300-foot limestone precipice, offering a thrilling cave tunnel to explore and some of the most rugged vistas in the country.
