Greener Camping Club

We’re proud members of the Greener Camping Club, which means our campsite in West Wales is for members only. This helps us keep numbers low, maintain a peaceful atmosphere, and ensure our impact on the environment stays minimal. Each membership contributes to tree planting and sustainability projects across the UK, helping protect beautiful spaces like ours at Pencwm Escapes, making it an ideal spot for family camping.

Nature & Wildlife

Pencwm Escapes is a little haven for wildlife, perfect for family camping in a picturesque campsite in West Wales. You might spot owls, hedgehogs, frogs, bats, and plenty of birds during your stay. We’ve planted native trees and wildflower areas, created a wildlife pond, and installed bird and bat boxes to give nature a helping hand. Additionally, we leave parts of the site wild and undisturbed, allowing natural habitats to flourish in their own way. Watching wildlife thrive here has been one of the most rewarding parts of our journey.

Supporting our Community

For us, sustainability is also about people. At our campsite in West Wales, we love working with local companies and supporting small Welsh businesses wherever we can. For family camping, we prioritize eco-friendly practices by using green cleaning products throughout the site and providing clear recycling and composting facilities to minimize waste. Every decision, no matter how small, is driven by our goal to keep Pencwm as natural and low-impact as possible.
